When I met Sandra, I wanted nothing more than to help give her a chance. She was at the point where she was unable to sit up in bed. As a Cancer Rehab Specialist, I worked with her to rebuild strength, and the confidence to go without her inspirational resilience to fight.
Her journey showed me the life-changing impact of specialist rehabilitation.
But I’ve also seen how many people are left without access to the support, encouragement, and information that can help during recovery.
With only a small number of specialists supporting millions of people affected by cancer across the UK, access remains a huge challenge. I created Ori to help make recovery support more accessible beyond traditional healthcare settings.
Ori is designed to help people stay active, supported, and connected to healthy routines after cancer treatment — because everyone deserves access to that kind of support.
